Obituary for Antoinette Dimino

On Thursday, January 12 th , Antoinette C. Dimino, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away
at age 79. Antoinette was born on October 20, 1943 to Jeanette and Anthony Rizzo. After graduating
Valley Stream High School, Antoinette attended fashion school before meeting and marrying her
husband Stephen in 1962, going on to have two children named Paul and Marlene.

Antoinette loved fashion, travel, cooking, pets, walks, reading and watching old movies. She also
enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and watching her favorite show, “The Pet Collective.”
She was intelligent, creative, generous, brave, persistent, and hardworking with a great sense of humor.
She will mostly be remembered for her grit and perseverance; although deaf, she never let her disability
define her. She attended fashion school in NYC, learned to drive, raised two children, went back to
college and got her associates degree, travelled, worked at the Mineola post office for over 10 years,
and never missed an opportunity to dance.

She is survived by her husband Stephen, children, Paul and Marlene, daughter in law Michele, son in
law, David and grandchildren - Ava, Olivia, and Christopher.

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Village Chapels at 67-67 Eliot Avenue, Queens,
NY 11379. There will be a funeral service at St. Margaret RC Church on Wednesday, January 18 th at
10:45 am, located at 6605 79 th Pl, Middle Village, NY 11379.
